From the experimental, to the traditional; from the mundane to the magical — and sometimes all of those things, all at once — it takes an intentional combination of methods to make Broken Plates Jewelry what you see. Ideas, to prototypes, to experiments, to production — our wearables are made through a combination of technology, tools, and human hands. Most of the time, those methods leave marks that honor the way each wearable was made. From the tactile texture of our Hot Pressed line, left behind by the 3D molds the glass is pressed into, to the nuanced and varied hues of our blown glass wearables — we love the stories our jewelry tell. And lets not forget the many moments in-between, the cleaning, cutting, sanding, prepping, and polishing — it’s all done to make your pieces shine!
