In the Hot Shop where we make our hand blown glass plates
At Broken Plates glass wearables, we create our jewelry using mostly two types of glass. One is a manufactured tinted art sheet glass, and the other type of glass comes from hand blown glass plates that we create ourselves. By cutting our shapes from blown glass, we create a transformative effect with color and light. These glass plates are made using traditional glass blowing techniques and are available in a wide variety of contemporary colors.
