Using technology as a tool
We are Glass Artists and one of our goals as glass artists is to take the magical material that is glass and find new ways to get it do new things. — One of our approaches, technology — specifically CNC technologies.
Whether we’re using this technology at the waterjet to cut the precisely repeated shapes for our Kinetic and Sculptural Glass Wearables or 3D printing the molds for our Hot Pressed pieces, CNC allows us to push our ideas farther than we could with our hands alone. If we can can think of the shape, we can create it. We find that exciting.
While we’re Glass Artists first and foremost, we’re also very grateful to be able to share our glass art. Using these tools allows us to create fascinating, new, and exciting ways to not just create glass art but also create glass art that that will compliment the body and the ways we choose to adorn it.
