In our line of solid Hot Pressed glass necklaces, we use 3-D printed steel molds that leave this great texture on the surface of the glass. You can see that texture almost like a fingerprint and it is really beautiful to hold and touch. Capturing all of the light, the thickness and the uninterrupted glass allows the light to do something different than on the kinetic pieces.
Our Kinetic line of wearables involves using multiple free hanging pieces of glass strung onto a Sterling Silver tube. All of the individual pieces kind of disrupt the light and diffuse it, creating an entirely different effect. Not better or worse, just different.
