In case you missed the memo, we blow glass to make our jewelry!

Our namesake, Broken Plates, actually comes from one of our main techniques to create our jewelry; hand blown glass plates! That’s right, we hand blow glass plates to create a mostly flat and even surface. After we have the plate blown, we then slump it completely flat in a kiln before we take it to the waterjet machine where we can precisely reproduce all of the shapes we need for our jewelry.
