Perfectly reproducing our glass wearables

Dark Lagoon Teardrop Studs being cut at the waterjet

At Broken Plates, we strive for perfection in every single step of the process. One of the most significant steps is when we cut out all the shapes of glass we need by using a waterjet. This high-pressure stream of water and abrasives magically cuts the glass like butter, allowing us to precisely reproduce every style.

After each shape is cut from the surface of our colorful glass plates, they are ground down by hand to a comfortably wearable thickness using diamond infused abrasives. A trip through the kiln returns each sanded edge to its original glassy shine.

If you’re looking for something fresh and colorful to add to your winter outfits, Broken Plates has got you covered!
